Owner of Lulu’s Primrose Bakery

Having previously trained as a Solicitor, Lulu fell head over heels in love with the entire process of designing and creating edible masterpieces! Over 9 years later, each year offers a journey for Lulu’s Primrose Bakery, proving that her passion and dedication is unrelenting:

Her creative flair and love of sugar art are brought to life in her North Devon Coast Cake Studio, where she’s often found crafting elaborate sugar flowers or searching Pinterest for new and unique design inspiration!

When she’s not creating extraordinary masterpieces for weddings, Lulu loves nothing more than indulging in her other passion’s for surfing and surrounding herself with natural beauty - a stunning view will always make her smile.

Lulu’s warm, genuine and personal approach promises impeccable service without compromising on luxury. She puts her all into every wedding cake she designs and creates, loving the entire process - from talking to clients about their cake dreams, to the glorious, fully embellished finish.

Drawing on her wealth of experience, Lulu is able to suggest design features and flavours. Approaching the design process very holistically, she believes the cake should complement the wedding theme, from the flowers, to the invitations, to the bride’s wedding dress.​ Lulu’s refined style is contemporary, yet elegant with an uncompromising attention to detail. She loves to blend mediums and techniques, creating sugar flowers and foliage and experimenting with textures and decorative elements. The flavours are given just as much consideration as the design, with a selection of pairings that will immerse your palette in an array of aroma and taste.
